but after someone brought up the topic about minah..
on my tagboard.. i was like,' what's with the minah labeling?'..
damn. my classmates call me minah.
and i just have to ask them one thing..
' what's a minah ? '
either they shut up or laugh or ' i dunno'..
frankly speaking, im nt even too sure wad minah means..
so yeah, with nth to do, i went surfing the net for answers..

The opposite of mats. The female sub-culture of the malay community in singapore, or neighbouring malaysia. They wear tapered pants, g-strings and uber tight clothes when they know they're fucking fat. How these mats still get turned on by them is beyond anyone.
( ok. its kinda wrong. mina's comes in all kinds of sizes.. but g-strings ?? so not me )How to identify them: 1-At an average of 5 words, the word 'sial', or 'siak' or 'siol' will be used. These words are phrase emphasisers like fug or shit in their mother tongue, malay.
( sometimes only. esp when im annoyed with sth.n i dnt use it so often. )2-They are fucking anoying hoes who tune their cheap ass nokias with fucking loud speakers and play the same monophonic ringtone again and again repeatedly in the fucking bus or train and never get bored with it. They always appear to have different opinions and comments about it.
( seriously, most of the time i put silent mode ok. what for need the attention. )3-They're fuckin dumb

( like real ehk.. aku yg kuakan duet ade ah )5-you can find them at any void deck of any hdb flats in singapore. They're usually in large groups, of about 8, playing shit music on some cheap ass guitar, sharing a cigarette.
( tkde lagi ramai ke.. nope. definitely less than 8 and i dnt play stupid guitar ) They're comparable to the blondes of america except, they're fucken ugly like 90% of the time. If u get called a minah, u've been insulted beyond recognition. Its so bad, u'll lose the purpose of living.

So what is really a minah?What makes a lady a minah?
Well we may have our own way of judgement,but according to my experience,here`s how i define someone to be a minah...
1)Dressing: Don`t be fool by sexy and revealing dressings as minahs are usually related to.They dress to impress and most of the time,to seduce their victims in order to get what they want which has always been $$$
.( nope. i dress as i want. comfort comes first. )Unless they are hanging out under void decks,they will usually dress in whatever they have left in their closets,which is normally unchanged due to their situation.
2)Characteristics: Well most minahs are associated with gangsterism and having tatoos on their body is quite common.Languages used among them are often full of vulgarities and they can care less abt what others think.
( tattoos is nvr part of me and nvr will be. too much vulgarities just make a conversation more annoying. ) 3)Education: Minahs are usually school drop outs,or rather lowly educated ppl.They quit education with a simple reason of having no interest anymore.They have absolutely no idea what life is all about and how can they improve it.
( and im still planning to pursue a degree after my diploma.. riiight.. )4)Jobs: For many of these minahs,jobs are hard to come by due to their poor or no paper qualification.So to earn fast cash which they need,minahs will take on jobs like karaoke hostess,bar waitresses,or even for some,prostitution.
( hmmm.. never! ) 5)Hangouts: Believe me if i say this that minahs favourite hangouts are none other that the clubs.But they will only turn out on ladies nite where they will be free acsess to the entrance.well u noe it,everything will be taken care of for the nite.free drinks,music,entertainment and also it`s their best chance to get themselves a mamat with a fat wallet.
( mcm bdh gitu kn buat nie sume.. i oni club when i haf money and its just for the reason of enjoyment. )6)Self disipline: Most minahs lack of self disipline.they stay out late nites without due care.Spending the nite at public places is common.They usually have guys around them who so called keeping them company.Sex to them is as common as having breakfast in the morning.
